Zach has grown sooo much both physically and mentally. I can not believe he was once a baby let alone in my tummy!
Here are all of his developments:
1) He still weighs 12kg.. He's been at this weight ever since he was around 20mths! Every ounce of fat he gains goes straight towards his height!
2) He speaks a lot now and constantly loves to copy what we say (not on purpose). The other day, my mum's DVD player couldn't play his favourite DVD so he exclaimed 'Oh Silly Bugger!' which is what my mum always say when things don't go her way.. my mum laughed her head off.
3) He understands mandarin. When I speak to him, he will answer back in English. Ask him what is his Chinese name, he will answer back to you 'Yum Cha!'. That cheeky boy!4) He is semi-toilet trained (can do number 1's on his potty, but still not no.2's. He only tells us when he's doing no.2's and then he does it in his training pants).
5) He loves watching ABC for kids aka ABC 2. He tells you when he wants to watch it and can sit there for at least an hour all entertained by the TV. Yay for mummy! His fav shows are Timmy Time, Wiggles, Bob the builder, Postman Pat & In the night garden
6) He is still a very considerate boy. Too sweet for his age. If you're crying (pretend), he will come up to you and say 'don't cry'. He knows to give both his parents a kiss each if we are 'pretending' to cry :) He loves his mei mei loads too. Every time she steals his toys, he would let her. If she hits him (unintentionally), he would let her. Amazing for a 2.5+ y.o! Moreover, He is always happy to share toys with any other kids.8) His fav toys include cars cars cars and trains trains trains. He also loves doing play dough & puzzles. He also loves us to read him at least 2 books just before he goes to sleep.
10) He has improved a lot in his swimming which he began at 28mths. He now knows how to jump into the pool. Walks across the mat, dunk his head under water, float in his floaties all by himself unaided in the water without feeling scared.
11) He loves going gai gai especially out to Coles & Bunnings where he can push his toddler trolleys. He also loves to go to the parks and sit on a swing or go down a slippery slide
12) He absolutely loves to sing. He sings ke ren lai, kan bah bah, ABC, Baba black sheep, twinkle twinkle little star & Jesus loves me this I know very well.
13) He wears size 2-3 clothes & size 8-9 shoes
14) He still has a 1-2hour afternoon nap every day :)
15) He goes to playgroup on Mon, swimming classes on Wed & Sunday School on Sundays :)
16) He is very inquisitive. Asks what's this? Where are we going? Why? etc etc
17) He loves answering the phone and say 'Hello! Who's this?' in his cute voice.
18) His favourite words 'Mama I want some more', 'Where bah bah gone to?, 'I want to do gaga' (meaning he wants to go to pee/poo), 'Not like that', 'I don't want to go home', 'Where are we going?',
19) He's also very demanding, like a big boss (takes after his dad & gong gong that's for sure!). He often says 'Bah bah, go get this, go get that.. '. The other day, we were at a restaurant and the waitress comes over to collect our dirty plates. She took one and was about to tend to the other one, but before she reached for the 2nd dirty plate, Zachariah is already pointing at her and then pointing to the plate implying for her to pick it up. Oh my I was so embarrassed. But thank God the lady smiled too cos she found him cute.
20) He loves to kick a ball, play golf, play tennis and his little keyboard too.
21) All of his teeth are out except 3 bottom molars and 3 top molars. He no longer drools that much which means we no longer need to use bibs on him (but instead, it's his mei mei that drools a lot). Hallelujah!
22) He is definitely mummy's little helper. He loves to help me pack things up or put things away. He would be so happy to carry things for me and not to mention arrange things in a very orderly manner.
I still can't believe how much he has grown. It seems like it was just yesterday, when his whole hand was just the size of my thumb...
