Follow The Journey - Las Vegas, Nevada

So here we are finally in SIN CITY (the original one and not the try hard wanna be Mc COW!) . Anyway, I remember before we came here, Kim & all her family told us how hot this place will be compared to SF and oh dear was she right or what! As soon as we landed, smack bang you could feel the dry heat! After a minute, everything we carried had melted including ourselves! It's about 43'C here every single day! One unique thing about Vegas is that you are allowed to carry your alcohol every where in public. I must say, we don't really enjoy Vegas as much as everyone made it out to be. They all looked the same after a while and we aren't really that much into gambling... and plus the weather was sooooo hot that we were so sick of walking up and down of The Strip. Nonetheless, we walked from one end to the Strip to another (ie. Wynn all the way down past Mandalay Bay!). It's definitely a city that is totally different from the rest and NEVER sleeps and we can finally say 'we've been to Vegas!' :)

Here are the pics!

Eating all the colours of the rainbow @ M&M World.. The peanut butter chocolate M&M is the best (but you can only buy it in America!)

The beautiful garden inside Bellagio Hotel

Luxor hotel in Egypt?

New York New York hotel in New York? This hotel has a sick rollercoaster ride that goes all around the hotel & travels inside of the hotel & out.. super crazy! (This hotel is situated next to Excalibur Hotel - which is the castle you see on the side)

Paris in Vegas? Next to Paris Hotel you have Planet Hollywood Hotel which is where we stayed for a night! We got a good deal whereby we paid USD$75per night and got a bottle of champagne worth USD$28 for free compliments of the hotel. We would highly recommend anyone stay here as it has a spectacular view of The Strip and most importantly the water fountain show at Bellagio Hotel.

Vegas by night - The Strip
(which is the road where all the main attractions/hotels are)

Dinner at PF Chang's - which is a Chinese style cafe chain across the States. Kim we ate the mongolian beef you recommended! It was so good! ;)

Inside the most expensive & prestigious hotel of all - Wynn

We also hired a car & drove to downtown Vegas - which I later discovered it's where the locals hang out - their own smaller version of The Strip ;)

Projector screen up on the roof

The best part of Vegas which everyone must go do is not gambling, not drinking, not clubbing but SHOPPING at none other than Premium Outlets which is located approx 15mins away from The Strip. This was where I went crazy with my shopping! I spent about AUD$455 on 3 pieces of COACH bags cos they were all around 70% off retail! But I must admit, the biggest bargain of all was my leather high heels which was on clearance b/c they had lost the box! And how much did I pay? drum roll.... USD$5 = AUD$6 = SGD$7 = RM15 (RRP USD$80). I am one happy woman :)

P/S COUSIN MEE YONG, just for you, I've found one of the bags that I bought for my mum on the net which looks very similar to this except that the beige leather is in black colour & the metal says COACH. I bought it for USD$90 (original price was USD$298). Good leh? hehehe..
