Marty, his wife Shirley & their cutest baby girl Annabelle came to Singapore last Sunday. We didn't end up catching up with them until Friday night where we went to makan at Zion Food Centre opposite Great World City. It was really good to finally getting to know the Ming side of the family!
After dinner, we went for a coffee at Toast Box. Baby Annabelle decided to do a poo so automatically two of us ladies ordered the two boys to go change her diapers. Shirley told Mr M 'You need practice, so go with Marty, he will show you.. '. While the two boys were at the baby change room, Shirley gave me a whole run down of how it feels like to be pregnant, to give birth & then to experience the biggest change of all and that is.. to be a mother..
It was definitely one insightful conversation..
We saw Marty again tonight as he was staying overnight before flying off the next day to join his whole 
family in KK for the next leg of their family holiday.

We went to Bishan & finally had the chicken rice that every single Singaporean line up for! And yes, it tasted pretty good (although not the best)! We also had the best fried carrot cake!
After that meal, it was back to Food Junction inside the Bishan Junction 8 Shopping Centre for Singapore's famous Roti Prata, Teh Tarik & Ice Kacang. Talk about eating your heart out!
After that binge eating, I don't think the boys could sleep until about 1:30am!

Beware! If you do come to Singers to visit us.. be prepared to eat your heart out cos my Mr M will definitely make sure of that;)
