If you're ever visiting Singapore, make sure you visit some of the Japanese Restaurants here. Singapore is largely influenced by Japan (name me a country that's not!). Every shopping centre you go to is guaranteed to have a Jap restaurant. Every shopping centre sells Jap food/snacks & nearly every major shopping centre is Japanese owned (eg. Takeshimaya, Isetan etc)
So, tonight Kelv & I decided to try dinner at Ichiban Boshi at my work place in Novena Square. The food was soooo 'flavoursome' and oh boy, the Sashimi's are really fresh & absolutely fantastic too!) The best bit about it is that if you compare with the amount & quality you get with that of Melbourne, you are looking at least 3 times the price cheaper.
For the above set meal you're seeing, it only costs.... drum roll... SG$20! (that equates to approx to AUD$15! dirt cheap yeah?!
