An eating feast weekend!

After briefly meeting up with Trudy today, Kelv & I went to Highlander - 49 Kampong Bahru Road (yes you have to catch a cab there) to have one of Singapore's best coffees (well - it's by Singapore standards & no where near as good as Melb's!). We met up with Mark, Elle for a brief moment before Char & Mark came to chit chat the entire afternoon away. Boy did we have some really deep conversations which was centred around God & Relationships. We must've talked for like 3hrs straight!

After that, it was off to Ikea to go home for some home furnishing shopping! Char bought a vase while Kelv & I bought a rug, a basket & a doona cover! Straight after that it was off to Miramar hotel for the best All-You-Can Eat Jap Buffet restaurant called 'Ikoi'. It costs only $36pp but I tell ya what, they have one of the best Prawn/Mushroom Tempuras, raw swordfish and every other Jap food you can think of (including mini steamboat soup, oyaki don, fried garlic rice, Jap Salad, the whole lot!) . The best thing is you actually order the food off the menu and they bring it out to you FRESH! You should've seen Kelv's eyes.. he truly was in heaven!


Ok the food fest did not stop there.. after that, Mark & Char took us to Chinatown to taste the best Mango Sago with Pomelo dessert! My goodness.. now I was in heaven!
