Food Poisoned!

Tonight, Mr M & I went on a date...

We decided to watch Hurt Locker at Knox City Village VMax to find out for ourselves why they had won 6 Academy Awards & beating Avatar in nearly every single category including for Best Picture! So in the morning, I had asked Mr M to go to Village in advance to secure our seats before our date at night.

Finally at 6pm, it was time to head to Knox. We decided to go to KFC at Knox Ozone for a quick bite before catching our movie at 6:40pm. Well... what a BAD decision that was! After consuming those infamous chicken, we headed our way to watch Hurt Locker.

Half way through the movie, Mr M looked at me & I at him. Both of us said at the same time 'are you feeling sick?' & of course we nodded in agreement. The only puzzle to our question was whether it was the movie itself that is making us sick (because it was filmed using a camera capturing all of the soldiers' moves which gave us a headache. It was very similar to Blair Witch Project the movie) or was it the KFC we had consumed?

We finally decided it was time to leave even though the movie was just getting to its good part! After we exited the cinema, we ran straight to the toilet to vomit. It was like dejavu all over again (and this time, it was with the movie directed by the ex wife of Avatar :), That was when I realised, I think it was the KFC & not the movie because Mr M also felt really sick as he usually don't feel sick watching any kinds of movie.

Finally, our theory was confirmed when we reached home & both of our tummies were gurgling. Once again, both of us rushed to the toilets (thank God we have more than 1 toilet in the house for times such as this!) but this time it was due to diarrhoea! Talk about a date that went absolutely wrong! I just pray that baby is unaffected by this! sigh..

So the lessons learned tonight for the both of us are:
1) Don't ever dine at KFC Knox Ozone Store
2) Don't ever eat KFC, full stop.
3) Don't watch Hurt Locker if you're not good at taking scenes which moves with the camera for the entire length of the movie!
4) Avatar should've definitely won best picture!
