SG - Phuket

Our trip to Phuket this time round was very different to all of our other trips in Asia. Primarily because we had 2 of our friends also joining with us & all of us had decided from the start that it would be a 'relaxing' holiday and not so much of an 'adventurous holiday'.
This was a very good decision we made b/c 1) I'm more tired than usual 2) It was raining half of the time we were there 3) our resort was only 5mins away from the beach
So for the majority of our 2 day holiday, we ate, we slept, we swam, we did everything to pamper ourselves... we didn't do much shopping (Cos Bali had better thigns on offer vs Phuket). We only bought two lamps which I really liked for only SG$14 each!).
So here are the piccies of our final trip to Thailand for the year....
Friday 18th April

Us gals wanted to go for a facial that only costed SG$13/AUD$10 per hour so we decided to drag Mr M with us too! hahaha...

Wow these Thai Durians were extremely BIG! - bigger than the size of Kelv's head!
Checking into our upgraded hotel which we paid approx SG$60 per room for a 4-star resort
at Horizon Karon Resort which mind you had 80% Aussies staying there too!

Saturday 19th March

Where we decided to sleep (Mr & Mrs M) while the girls baked for 3hrs..

Late afternoon after we had our Thai lunch again, we decided to hop into the resort's pool & patronise their bar pool during happy hour!
Beckham the lizard, hotel staff decided to also join in the fun..
After a whole day of the sun & beach as well as eating Thai for 2days, we decided to all go for Western cuisine during our final night in Patong Phuket while enjoying the very talented Philippino Band performing (every single band member could sing so well & all sang solo for each of the songs while playing their instruments! talk about talented!)
