Ah the joy of being a parent...
To date we have had many so called 'funny' incidents that has occured with both D & Z. Here are the top 5 to date:
1) Mr M & I along with the 4 grand parents can not stop referring D (by accident) as a He or Boy. After having Z for 23mths, we are too use to saying 'Good boy' or 'he this & he that'. Poor Davina..
2) Whenever D cries, the protective gor gor runs into our room (where she is temporarily camping out at the moment), climbs up onto our bed, peeks over to her mei mei and then pats her in an attempt to soothe her. Of course some times his pats a little bit rough and instead of soothing her, he is annoying her. lol.
3) Every time I'm breast feeding D, Z would run up to my lap and ask to hold her. Such a cute sight. He's such a loving brother. I can not ask for a better outcome than this.
4) Our friends had warned us already that when you change a girl's nappy, get ready for the pee to flow to the back/bottom part vs a boy which is all at the front part. Sure enough, every time we change her nappy (#1), we are constantly having to change her entire outfit b/c she would pee while we're changing her & it would drip all the way to her back! Grrr.. Whereas for boys, when they shoot the pee similar to a hose, at least you can some how catch it in the nappy. Interesting ain't it?
5) Whilst changing Davina's nappy which was full of poo, she decides to do a little fart. To my horror, she squirts out bits of poo onto my top & on my glasses. I nearly died. Ahh.. the joy of being a parent.
